The Model D-24 is a 6V6 powered fixed bias amp that can deliver a range of tones from Fender/vox-ish cleans to high definition yet brown high gain tones, to anything in between. This amp definitely has that special "something" that truly inspires you to play for hours on end. The new D-33JB (Nick-named the"Tone Ranger")has a fiery 4 x EL-84 cathode biased Power section that adds lots of Chime and "Fire" to the already dynamic preamp of the Model D. The clean sounds on this amp are good enough to proudly stand on their own and the amp works fantastic with the volume control on your guitar. This amp was born out of a custom amp built for Jason Brekhus who just knew that 4 EL-84's would rock with this preamp! He was so right that we are launching it as our new model, thanks Jason!!!
